yala vs songwhip.
if you searched songwhip, it no longer exists: sony's the orchard bought it and switched off the servers in july 2024, so every link is dead. yala is the live, music-first replacement that does what songwhip did, and more.
no spin. no asterisks. line by line. last reviewed 2026-06 from public pricing pages + feature lists. spot something off? email hi@yala.la and we’ll publish the fix.
- your songwhip links are dead and you need a maintained tool to rebuild on
- you want the free 'smart link across every DSP' experience songwhip had, from something that's still running
- you want your data portable so you're never stranded by an acquisition again
- songwhip is permanently shut down; there is no 'choose songwhip'.
- (its servers, links, pre-saves, and analytics ended july 22, 2024 with no migration path.)
- the only real choice is where to rebuild.

questions.
No. Songwhip was acquired by Sony Music's The Orchard and fully shut down on July 22, 2024. The servers are off and every link, page, and pre-save campaign is dead. There's no migration path from Songwhip itself.
Rebuild them: for each release, paste the source URL into Yala's wizard (the DSP scanner re-resolves Spotify, Apple, Deezer, YouTube and the rest), then update your bio/social links to the new Yala link. The free tier covers unlimited links, so bring your whole catalog.
Yes. Yala has a real $0 tier: unlimited active links, the full DSP scanner, palette themer, analytics with CSV export, consent banner, GDPR export, and release-day broadcast. No card required.
No one can promise immortality, but Yala gives you CSV export and full GDPR data-portability on every tier from day one, so your links and audience are always yours to take, never locked to the platform.
a note: hy.page is the other name people land on after songwhip, but it's a creator-monetization page, not a music smart-link tool: no DSP scanner, no pre-save. if you specifically want to sell memberships from a link-in-bio, that's its lane. but for the thing songwhip actually did (paste a release, get one smart link across every service), yala is the music-native, still-maintained replacement. (yala has no annual billing, free trial, or SSO yet.)
