yala vs komi & beacons.
komi and beacons are creator-economy link-in-bio suites with music bolted on. if your job is shipping a release (auto-routing listeners to their DSP, pre-save, release-day email), yala is built for that and they aren't.
no spin. no asterisks. line by line. last reviewed 2026-06 from public pricing pages + feature lists. spot something off? email hi@yala.la and we’ll publish the fix.
- you ship releases and want listeners auto-routed to their own streaming service
- you want real pre-save + a release-day email to the people who pre-saved
- you want conditional redirects, CAPI, and a public API, not just a link hub
- you mainly sell digital products, courses, or memberships (Beacons' commerce suite)
- you chase brand deals (Komi's marketplace)
- you want an AI-built all-purpose creator page, music secondary
built for the release?

questions.
Not really. Beacons has you paste Spotify/Apple/SoundCloud share links or embeds manually; there's no DSP auto-scan. Komi has smart links and pre-save but launched Spotify+Apple only, with other services added by hand. Yala auto-scans the release across the majors and routes each listener automatically.
No. Beacons has no pre-save, which is a dealbreaker for a release campaign. Komi has Spotify + Apple pre-save. Yala includes Spotify pre-save on every paid tier (Apple Music is on the Q3 2026 roadmap).
No. Beacons keeps a 9% seller fee on its free and $10 tiers (0% only at $30/mo). Yala is a flat subscription and takes no cut of anything you sell.
If your main business is selling courses, memberships, or chasing brand deals, Beacons or Komi do more on commerce. If your job is shipping music (routing releases, pre-save, release-day email, ad retargeting), Yala is the music-native tool.
credit where due: beacons' commerce suite (store, courses, media kit, invoicing) and komi's brand-deal marketplace do real things yala doesn't. yala is smart links + landing pages, not a storefront or a sponsorship marketplace. if selling courses or landing brand deals is the main event, those tools earn it. but for routing a release, building your audience, and emailing them on drop day, yala is the music-native choice. (yala has no SSO, annual billing, or free trial yet.)
